Snickerdoodles

1 1/2 c. sugar

1 c. butter

2 eggs

2 3/4 c. flour

2 tsp cream of tartar

1 tsp soda

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 c. sugar

2 Tbsp cinnamon

Mix butter, sugar and eggs. Add sifted dry ingredients. Roll into balls and roll in cinnamon sugar mixture. Bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes.
