Maple Butter Blondie

Brownie:

1 c. flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
1/3 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 Tbsp vanilla
1/2 c. white chocolate chips

Bake all at 350 in square 9" pan for 20-25 minutes.

Sauce:
3/4 c. maple syrup
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Serve sauce over vanilla ice cream over brownie
